About This Blog

So Abraham rose early in the morning and took bread and a skin of water, and putting in on her shoulder, he gave it and the boy to Hagar, and sent her away. Then she departed and wandered in the Wilderness of Beersheba. And the water in the skin was used up,and she placed the boy under one of the shrubs………….Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink.
                                                                                           Genesis 21:14-19

We are well familiar with the above passage. How many times in our lives have we felt this feeling of wilderness? All the provisions that we had before we started our journey is used up and we are in a state of total loss, both spiritually and physically.Wilderness can just drain your energy and you long for something to quench your thirst. The feeling of wilderness can happen in our spiritual lives too.The problems or the circumstances of life just drains your spiritual strength sometimes.Everything you had can be used up.During those times, only Jesus and His words can quench your thirst.Bible says that if you drink the water that He gives you, you’ll not be thirsty again. John 4:13

I had these wilderness experiences many times in my life and the Word of God alone has helped me.The idea of this blog is to provide you with thoughts from the bible which I believe will help you in your everyday life.My earnest desire and prayer is that you will be guided to the ultimate fountain of living water…JESUS

About Me

I am Rani John, a wife and a mother; more than that, a child of God. I grew up as a christian and had all the opportunities to know Christ even in my young age. As I grew older,God created circumstances in my life to know Him more and now both as an individual and as a family we are growing in Him.

Even at a small age , my earnest desire was to do something for God and I believe that God will use me according to His mighty purpose. My prayer is that God will use me and this blog to quench the thirst of many through simple thoughts and inspirations.

God Bless You

Rani John
